In 1999, I retired as UK General Manager of the Prudential,
the UK’s largest insurance group and too young to retire, set up
as a financial adviser and insurance broker in France. Working
initially from home, I had by the end of 2006 offices in
Toulouse, Eauze (Gers), Cap d’Agde (Herault) and of course Pech
Luna. In April of 2007 my business merged with
Siddalls and I joined the
board of John Siddall Financial Services.
I am one of a very few British insurance advisers actually
qualified in France. I have the International Financial Planning
Certificate, awarded by the Chartered Insurance Institute and
also the UK Financial Planning Certificate and the and I am a
member by diploma of the Life Insurance Association (LIA), the
UK’s largest association for Financial Advisers. I was elected a
Fellow of the LIA in 1980. I specialise in retirement and
inheritance planning.
I am a member of the British international Business Network
Toulouse: (BiBNT) and I was elected President, in 2003 a post I
held until 2005.
